Secret Mission Dinner
Everyone draws a hidden objective on arrival — get three people to mention their hometown, use one odd word ten times, convince someone pigeons are government drones. Pursue it quietly all night; at the end, everyone guesses everyone’s mission. A game layered invisibly under a normal dinner.
What it's for
Make the whole dinner into a game nobody can fully see — the invisible layer of play that makes every conversation slightly suspicious.
The guest's job
Complete your mission as quietly as possible; the less obvious your pursuit, the better your score.
The vote
End-of-night: everyone guesses everyone else’s mission; closest guess wins the meta-game.
The reveal
Each guest announces their mission and recounts the moment they almost blew their cover.
Food & drink spine
Easy, relaxed food — the host needs to be in the room, not the kitchen, to catch the missions playing out.
Conversation fuel
"When did you realize you were also being played?"
How it flops — steer around it
Missions that are too easy to spot or too difficult to complete in one dinner. Write them so success requires at least three genuine conversations.
